![]() ![]() (TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND CREDITS BELOW) Director/Writer John Aguirre has crafted a very unique new product in childrens entertainment. The My First Day video series will become an essential tool for parents dealing with children who might be apprehensive about their first experiences in early childhood. The My First Day video series will also entertain through catchy songs and simple story narrative, making your child feel excited about this experience. My First Day at Preschool employs a unique title character, Buddy Bear. Buddy is inspiring, funny, curious and full of life. Buddy provides a unique alternative to other childrens characters who may play down to children and serve as fodder for comedic mockery. Buddy Bear directly connects with children and reacts the same way they might in a real setting. This video also utilizes the talents of some of the countries very best preschool teachers, using them as Buddy's in class teachers. My First Day at Preschool plays out Buddys first day linearly. As Papa Bear drives Buddy to school, Buddy is vocal about his apprehension. Papa Bear assures him that his day will be full of fun, learning and new friends. Upon arrival, Buddy immediately sees that his day will be wonderful - through story time, playing outside, making projects and working in the school garden - we see Buddy's mind enlightened and imagination sparked, just like your childs upon their first day of preschool. By the time school is over, Buddy cannot wait to come back the next day to see his new friends and to learn and play! My First Day was shot entirely on location in Newport Beach, California at a functioning preschool. Real teachers and real students make this "fictional" day a more real experience for your child.
